About:

Dr. Howell is the chair of Sonoran’s Clinical Diagnostics Department. Before beginning her medical training, she served in the United States Navy for six years as an electronics technician and was honorably discharged at the rank of First Class Petty Officer.  Once through with her schooling, Dr. Howell began a private pediatric practice in Amarillo, caring for children from infancy through adolescence. Additionally, she served as chief of pediatrics at High Plains Baptist Hospital in Texas from 1998 to 2000 and lead AIDS awareness seminars at the community’s junior and senior high schools. In 2003, she came to Sonoran with her husband, who is a practicing naturopathic physician.
