The Southwest College campus culture is easy to sense, yet difficult to describe in words. Southwest College is a place for meaningful discovery, academic challenge, real-life experience and lasting friendships.

Southwest College has drawn students with an astonishing breadth of experiences, interests and backgrounds. Our last incoming class of 72 students hailed from no fewer than 60 different colleges, 53 different states and 5 different countries. Besides excellent academic credentials, they also bring various backgrounds including nursing, medicine, environmental science, theater, history and engineering, just to name a few.

The campus is set on 15 Acres in the college town of Tempe, Arizona, home to Arizona State University. Campus grounds offer students beautiful and tranquil outdoor spaces to study, relax and play, all of course in the generously sunny and warm climate of Arizona.

SCNM students have a strong sense of community, school spirit and responsibility as active participants in their education and recreation.
