2012 Alumni Awards

Awards Presented at SCNM Alumni Reception Held at AANP

The SCNM Alumni Association will present three awards to SCNM alumni who have been nominated by fellow graduates. Nominations, accepted through end of day July 15, 2012, will be evaluated by the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Winners will be notified by July 27 and are invited to attend the August 16 Alumni Reception at the AANP Annual Convention.

The three awards being presented are:

• Advancing Naturopathic Medicine Award

This award recognizes an individual who has a made major contribution to the advancement and development of naturopathic medicine. The individual is not only a health care provider, scientist and/or educator, but also an influential participant in the advancement of naturopathic medicine.

• Advancing Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine Award

This award recognizes an SCNM alumnus who has made extraordinary service contributions to the college. Those contributions in turn have significantly enhanced the well-being and reputation of SCNM within the naturopathic community.

• Community Service Award

This award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the betterment of the community through charitable or public service.
