Environmental Medicine Conference
Held at SCNM Jan. 28-29
The first-ever Advances in Environmental Medicine Conference was held January 28-29, 2012, at SCNM. Drs. Walter and Kelly Crinnion hosted more than 80 physicians and vendors from across the U.S. and Canada to discuss the latest topics on immunotoxicity.
Doris Rapp, MD, Aristo Vojdani, PhD, Joseph Morgan, MD, Lyn Patrick, ND, Soram Khalsa, MD, and Walter Crinnion, ND, spoke at the event on topics including chemical sensitivity, toxicant-induced autoimmunity, allergies and environmental burden, and much more.
Marianne Marchese, ND, Bonnie Nedrow, ND, Doris Rapp, MD, and Walter Crinnion, ND were available for books signings at the event. Attending physicians also had the opportunity to bring in environmental cases from their practices to apply the knowledge acquired at the conference.
Adhering to the principle of nature cure, the food offered for snacks and lunches at the conference consisted only of organic, gluten-free and dairy-free items. The next conference on toxicant impact on fertility, pregnancy, and children’s health will be January 26-27, 2013, on the SCNM campus.
