
Deborah Wollner, Ph. D

Dr. Debra Wollner obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Washington (1987) from the Department of Pharmacology. Dr. Wollner performed postdoctoral work at the New York University Medical School Department of Cell Biology, the Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Institute for Cancer Research in Philadelphia, and Stanford University Medical School’s Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology.
In 2000, Dr. Wollner began teaching at Southwest
College of Naturopathic Medicine. In addition to being a faculty member, she has been co-appointed as an adjunct associate Professor of Research, the Assistant Provost for Strategic Planning and Assessment (2005-7) and Chair of the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Dr. Wollner instructs the following courses at SCNM: Cell Function and Organ Systems (PHYS 605, 610, 615); Endocrinology (PHYS 612); Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics (PHAR 700, 710, 780); and Research I (RSCH 610).
