The faculty at Southwest College is drawn from leading academicians and practitioners in various fields of medicine. SCNM faculty often bring the profession into the classroom through field studies, guest lectures, and projects. One of the overall goals of Southwest College is to maintain the lowest faculty-student ratio among the naturopathic schools with a ratio of 14 to 1, which illustrates our commitment to the importance of academics.

Our faculty represent a variety of professions including NDs, MDs, PhDs, DOs, DCs and Acupuncturists. Faculty members at Southwest College infuse their teaching with the excitement of discovery. The College, through the SCNM Research Department and the Research Department offers students an opportunity to participate in cutting edge research while pursuing the ND degree.
