Student for a Day
Student-for-a-Day is a true "day in the life" of an SCNM student. SCNM's Student-for-a-Day program offers interested students the opportunity to observe classes in session (lecture and labs) and observe an ND and clinical students on a clinical rotation at the SCNM Medical Center.
You will be guided through your Student-for-a-Day experience, which includes:
- A tour of the SCNM campus, anatomy lab, and botanical gardens
- Observation of classes (labs and lectures)
- Admissions advising
- Financial aid advising (optional)
- Career services advising (optional)
- Observation of an ND and clinical students on-shift at the Medical Center

Here is an example of how your day will be:
| 7:45 a.m. | Arrive at academic building; check in at the front desk |
| 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. | Attend class of your choice |
| 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. | Guided campus tour |
| 10:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. | Meet the financial aid administrator |
| 10:45 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. | Meet the Director of Career Services |
| 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Lunch (on your own) |
| 12:15 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Arrive at Medical Center |
| 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. | Observe an ND and student clinicians at the SCNM Medical Center |
| 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. | Meet your Admissions Representative |
| 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Attend class of your choice (optional) |
