Where
do I send my gift?
Your gift of cash, check, money order or bank draft can be made payable
and sent to: Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine Attn: Department
of Development 2140 E. Broadway Road Tempe, AZ 85282
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. Gifts are deductible on federal tax returns subject to the limits
allowed by the Internal Revenue System (see IRS Code 170). A copy
of the letter documenting tax-exempt status is available from the
Department of Development . If you make a gift associated with a product,
event or service, the Department of Development will provide you with
the necessary documentation for tax purposes.
Why should I give to Southwest College?
The College has a vital role in naturopathic medicine as a resource
in conducting research, training physicians and scientists, and developing
new programs that set the standards of alternative modalities and
care.
I can only make a small gift at this time.
Will it still have an impact?
Every gift makes a difference. The cumulative effect of several small
gifts can be very significant. For example, your gift can help fund
the start-up of a pilot project or enable a researcher to gather the
preliminary data needed to compete for federal research grants. In
this manner, the power of your gift is magnified many times over.
How can I take advantage of my company's
Matching Gift Program?
You can double or further multiply the impact of a gift if you are
an employee, retiree or director of a corporation that matches gifts
to qualified institutions. Please call the College at 480-858-9100
ext. 229 to make a matching gift or forward your company's matching
gift form to us for processing.
What opportunities are there for recognition?
We are pleased to recognize our partners in the advancement of naturopathic
medicine in the U.S. With your approval, recognition of your gift
reflects our shared commitment to elevate alternative medicine as
a key measurement of quality in healthcare and to inspire other donors.
