Jody was born and raised in Mishawaka, Ind. She married her high school sweetheart, Jeff, and has two beautiful girls: Heather and Samantha. Jody and her family lived in Jacksonville, N.C. for a brief two years while her husband spent four years in the United States Marine Corps. She and her family moved back to Mishawaka in 1995 to be close to family. After much thought about the cold winters, shoveling snow, and gloomy days in Indiana, they decided to relocate to Chandler, Ariz. in June 2002. Jody has over ten years customer service and management experience.  After deciding it was time for a career change, she came to SCNM in August 2006.

“This is the best change I have ever made. I love working with the students, seeing their excitement about starting the ND program, and being part of their journey into the Naturopathic profession. The staff and faculty are absolutely wonderful to work with, and SCNM is definitely a family-oriented atmosphere. Everyone cares deeply about each and every student’s success.”

Jody’s main focus at SCNM is advising students with last names A-G, organizing Interview Day and Student-for-a-Day, scheduling AANMC Informational Forums, and traveling to different states to talk to prospective students about Naturopathic medicine.

Jody enjoys spending her spare time with her family, including Jackson, her Jack Russell Terrier.  She also enjoys reading James Patterson and Harlan Coben mysteries.

Her favorite outdoor activity is golf, and what better place to do that than in warm Arizona!  Her husband gauged her interest in golfing four years ago after going to a driving range for the first time. The two try to go to different golf courses around the Valley, but her favorite is Ken McDonald Golf Course in Tempe. She collects a souvenir golf ball from every golf course they have played.

“Golfing is very relaxing and a great way to get exercise and spend time with friends and family. You also get a little fresh air.”
