Laboratory Staff

Becky Peterson, CLT (NCA)- Laboratory Manager

Becky joined the laboratory staff in 2007 and was appointed the laboratory manager in January 2008.

Becky has over 30 years of experience in medical laboratories. Twenty of these years was performing high complexity laboratory testing, serving as Safety Officer and as an OSHA facilitator.

Before coming to Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center Becky was a member of the faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minn. She was a laboratory instructor in the Chiropractic program teaching Clinical Pathology laboratories as well as Basic Life support.

Nicholas Tkacenko, PT (ACA) - Laboratory technician

Nicholas joined the medical center in 2005 in the Medicinary. He joined the laboratory staff in 2006.

Nick has a BS degree in Biochemistry. He received training at Sonora Quest and is a certified Phlebotomist.

Leitipiula L. Apina (Isa)-Lab Assistant

Isa is certified as a Medical Assistant and joined the medical center as a Patient Service Representative in May of 2008. She joined the laboratory staff in November 2008 laboratory assistant.

Stephanie Seitz, MT (ASCP)

Stephanie is a medical student at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has a BS degree in Medical Technology and joined the laboratory staff in 2006.
