Computers:

The library has computers and stations for wireless access. Visit the Library OPAC for a list of our online resources. All workstations have MS Office.

Interlibrary Loans (ILL):

The SCNM Library is affiliated with various professional organizations, including Central Arizona Biomedical Libraries (CABL), Medical Library Group of Southern California and Arizona (MLGSCA), Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), Special Library Association (SLA), and the American Library Association (ALA). The Library is a member of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) and is part of the DOCLINE interlibrary loan system through the National Library of Medicine (NLM) at the NIH.

Place items on reserve:

Faculty members may place items on reserve for his/her class. Copies of all required, or recommended, textbooks for the current term are placed in the reserve collection. These items are for in library only.

Bibliographic Instruction:

The Library Director provides classroom instruction in the proper usage of the Library, PubMed, and online research databases at the request of faculty members. Additional instruction to students and other users is done as needed and upon request.

Audiovisual Equipment:

The library also has a TV/VCR/DVD player, audio tape dubbing, and scanner. Instructors and other presenters may check out classroom microphones from the Library.

Copy Machines/Printers:

One copy machine/printer is located in the library please be courteous to fellow classmates when using.
