Jordan and Jason’s Story

March 2006

We came to Dr. Deng by way of four years of frustration with attempting to start a family and continually being unlucky. When our doctor, Dr. Craig, suggested I see Dr. Deng before and during my next IVF treatment, my first thought was, “How can I ever fit this into my schedule?!” I run my own business and work nearly all hours of every day – and Dr. Deng was about one hour away from the area I spend most of my time. I knew this was a great suggestion and somehow I would have to figure out a way to make it work.

The first time I visited with Dr. Deng I knew that whatever he was doing with those needles was helping me immensely. I felt more energetic and didn’t get sick even though everyone around was in the midst of flu season. I kept going and joked with Dr. Deng that visiting him was the only time when I stopped “going”. I wasn’t joking and he knew it.

As a part of the treatments he would give me the best advice and I took it. He forced me to take care of myself in a way that I had not done for years. Then on the day of the IVF, he treated me before the procedure and after. It was amazing! I just felt like the procedure had worked and I was so much more relaxed then ever before. When I first got a positive pregnancy test result he seemed as happy for us as we were and then continued to treat me in order to make sure the pregnancy was successful. Bottom line is that if it was not for Dr. Deng we would not be expecting a baby in a few months. My husband truly credits him with this success and when, after about 14 weeks, I came home and told my husband that Dr. Deng had felt the pulses and told me it was a boy, he kind of brushed it off. A few weeks later as we watched the ultrasound, the first thing my husband said after the doctor told us it was, in fact, a boy, was “That Deng is always right!”

Thank you Dr. Deng for giving us life!

January 2007

Logan is the most amazing gift to me and my husband. Dr Deng, you have given us a miracle and we are forever grateful for this. Really there is no way that Logan would be here had it not been for you! Thank you so much! The interesting thing is that everyone says that Logan is incredibly calm and collected for a baby. You just can’t rile him up. He is constantly smiling and very observant. Someone said he appears to be just tolerating being a baby. This is apparent because Jason and I are not calm people. Everyone asks how he got to be so unlike his parents and every single time I tell them that it is because of Dr. Deng and the acupuncture treatments I had during the pregnancy. I really believe that this baby is so much closer to self-actualization because of the balancing he must have gone through in the womb by virtue of my acupuncture treatments. Thank you so much!

Logan was born in August of 2006 and weighed 7 lbs 12 oz. I am not a big person and no one (not even my doctor) thought I would have a big baby. This again I credit as a result of the acupuncture.

Thank you!

The Ant Bite

January 2007

Dear Dr. Deng,

I can not thank you enough for helping my husband. His recovery was really quite remarkable.

On a Thursday evening he was out in the yard and was bit on the hand by a tiny bug. It was so small he couldn’t quite make it out but we now figure it was most likely an ant.

His hand immediately began to swell. Over the next couple hours it swelled to twice its normal size. However, it wasn’t until his lips started to tingle that he got really concerned. Figuring it could be an allergic reaction I suggested he take some Benadryl and see if it helped. The tingle in his lips subsided and he was able to go to sleep.

The next morning, his hand was still twice its normal size. He took another dose of Benadryl but it didn’t seem to make much difference. By mid-morning an area around the bite, about the size of a dime, turned purple. He went to our family doctor who gave him a tetanus shot and a prescription for an antibiotic. Neither seemed to make a whole lot of difference and that’s when I thought to call you.

You explained that some ants have a vicious bite and very powerful toxins. We needed to rid the toxins that were causing the swelling. As you prescribed I went Saturday morning and picked up Five Flower pills at the naturopathic pharmacy. After one dose the swelling started to go down. After two doses he was almost back to normal. So, he skips the third dose, but the swelling starts to come back. He continues as prescribed and by Tuesday or Wednesday his hand was back to normal and he hasn’t had a recurrence since.

Who would have thought that such a tiny ant could cause so much pain and worry. Your responsiveness, caring, knowledge and successful treatment is unmatched. Thank you again.

Fondly,

Amy Tyre

No More Glasses

About a year ago, I was told I had hypertension. My doctor suggested natural supplements as a first attempt to bring my blood pressure under control. The next day I made an appointment at the Center for Natural Healing. They added some supplements to the ones my doctor had given me. I also asked for a referral to an acupuncturist. I had had great results with problems in the past with acupuncture and I had worked with a fellow who used acupuncture to control his blood pressure. I was referred to Dr. Deng.

In addition to the treatments, I took Chinese herbs, Gradually over about a month, my blood pressure went from the 170’s over the 100’s to 100-110 over the 60’s.

In the meanwhile, I had started having trouble with my left knee. I was unable to do many of the yoga poses in class, I had to give up jogging and I had to take the elevator instead of the stairs. I felt like I had a tennis ball behind my knee. I discussed this with Dr. Deng and we added treatment for my knee to my sessions. After a few treatments, my knee felt normal. Dr. Deng suggested I get the knee x-rayed to find out exactly what the condition was. My family doctor told me I had a degenerative condition like arthritis due to a lifetime of aerobics, tennis, jogging, hiking, etc. etc. He asked me what I take for pain and I told him I was getting acupuncture. He said it was great if that worked because anti-inflammitories will kill you.

A couple of weeks ago, I realized that I wasn’t using my glasses. I would take them out each day when I get to work and put them on my desk. When it dawned on me that I wasn’t using them, I took out the phone book and low and behold, I could read it. Then I tested my vision on ingredient labels and I could read those too. The next time I saw Dr. Deng I asked him if we were doing anything that would improve my vision. He said the treatments for blood pressure are the same as those for vision. Now I don’t carry glasses. The glasses I had all over my house have been put away and I have managed to amaze my friends & family.

Now I go to Dr. Deng every 3-4 weeks for what he calls a tune-up. I don’t have anymore problems with my blood pressure, my knee or the added benefit of my eyesight.
