Meet the Dean of Students

Welcome! Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine offers a rich and rewarding student experience. Discover the unique character of our campus and the energy from our students, staff and faculty that make up the Southwest College community. Our students become involved in their first quarter at SCNM through the Student Government Association, membership in one of our many student organizations and societies, or by participating as a peer mentor.

The Office of the Dean of Students is responsible for promoting student support programs, facilitating student/SCNM liaisons, and addressing student and SCNM-wide issues affecting the educational experience. Additional responsibilities include administering the code of student conduct, student grievances, appeals, judicial processes, counseling students, and actively supporting student learning experiences and the educational environment.

The Dean of Students oversees the academic progress of matriculated students, administers the community service program, liaises with student government, and assists students in a wide range of areas and needs including international student matters, tutoring, and disability accommodations. Students are encouraged to contact the Dean of Students for information or assistance. You can find a complete description of the services provided by the office in the Student Handbook.

Take the time to walk our beautiful campus and absorb the great energy and surroundings.   I am here to help you get the most from your time as a student at SCNM. Our website is designed to offer a preview of the many services and programs you can access through SCNM. You can also e-mail me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
