Naturopaths Without Borders recognized in Mexico

Naturopaths Without Borders, a non-profit SCNM student-based organization, provides medical services abroad to underprivileged communities. Recently, NWB traveled to Rocky Point, Mexico to run a free pediatric clinic. The local newspaper ran an article on their work. To read the article in its entirety, in Spanish, click here. The governor reunites with the altruistic organization Naturopaths Without Borders from Tempe Az.

The morning of Saturday the 12th in the Plaza De la Madre (Mother’s square) where the event took place, the Major Alejandro Zepeda attended a commission of doctors and their medical students from the organization Naturopaths without Borders de Tempe Az. He expressed a commitment in his first interview in November last year to attend in the facilities of another altruistic organization provides medical services at the New Hope colony for more than 10 years, Helping Hands.

Sean X-Tlesler, Maryke Geyer, Sarah Preston Hesler, Kelly Bender and Chris Alston's requested from the mayor certain information regarding the most pressing needs for the population that currently lack medical service.

The document requested facilities such as days and times for social service provision, with the understanding that the intention is to offer the important health care services 365 days a year.

Mayor Alejandro Zepeda thanked on behalf of the people of Puerto Peñasco for the extraordinary contribution that professionals and medical students delivered to the people with most need in Puerto Penasco completely free of charge.
