SCNM would like to thank Ryan, a seventh grade student at Willis Junior High in Chandler, Arizona, for donating a generous portion of his allowance money to SCNM’s Sage Foundation.

Ryan’s gift will help provide naturopathic healthcare to underserved populations throughout the Valley.

Neal, Ryan’s dad, said his son is frequently looking for good ways to spend his money: “Our family has always taught Ryan to manage his allowance from an early age by setting aside money for charity as well as savings. [Ryan] really wanted his money to work hard for others. He saved up so he could look for just the right charity and make a meaningful contribution.”

Ryan feels it is the responsibility of everyone—young and old—to help others in any way they can. He is an inspiring example of how simple selflessness can help change the world.

“I have been saving my money for a while,” Ryan said. “I like that some of my allowance can help people.”
