Oct 9, 2006
SCNM Revamps Medical Center
Scottsdale, Ariz (October 9th) – New rooms, new treatments, new products! Over the summer break, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine did a full makeover of their clinic, to better cater to patients, students and doctors.
SCNM Medical Center, located off Hayden and McDowell in Scottsdale is a naturopathic medical center which has served the public since 1993 and now is better than ever. With only 500 additional square feet, many changes have been brought about. Additional classrooms were added to facilitate enhanced student instruction which offers better patient care. Adding a hydrotherapy suite along with space to the IV center offers more comfortable environments with advanced treatment options, thus creating better patient care. The medicinary has also expanded, allowing for an increased product line and an additional register to facilitate quick and easy processing, save time, and of course, enhance patient care!
Creating the best environment possible to best serve the patients was on the forefront of importance; even the color schemes and lighting were altered to create a more calming and healing environment. “[It is so] nice to hear patients comment on how much more comfortable it is here,” comments Nelly Foster, lab director at SCNM Medical Center, “[We are] moving in a positive direction, allowing us to serve patients, students and staff as well.”
The Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center offers multi-disciplinary primary medical care for common, serious and chronic health conditions. By combining the wisdom of traditional healing with rigors of the scientific method, our staff of naturopathic physicians, acupuncturists and chiropractors treat patients of all ages using a variety of natural alternatives for healing and staying well.
