WORLD AIDS DAY
Tempe, AZ (Nov. 30, 2006) – December 1st is World AIDS Day. As conventional treatments fail, many patients are turning to naturopathic treatments for HIV and AIDS to reclaim their lives.
Naturopathic physician Jami Kupperman explains, “Naturopathic treatment of HIV involves more than simply targeting the virus. While there are naturopathic anti-viral interventions designed to work alone or in combination with standard anti-retroviral protocols, perhaps the greatest contribution can be seen in the decrease in symptoms including pain, fatigue and gastrointestinal complaints and the increase in the overall quality of life. Therapies are customized for the individual and often include some combination of clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, and IV nutrient therapy.”
Students and doctors from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine treat AIDS and HIV positive patients at the extended site at Body Positive, the Valley’s leading non-profit organization aimed at serving AIDS/HIV positive patients.
To make an appointment with Dr. Kupperman or another ND specializing in AIDS/HIV therapies, please call Body Positive: 602-307-5330.
