The American Cancer Society advises women to begin having annual Pap smears at the age of 18 or when they become sexually active.

Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center can help! One Saturday each month, SCNM's Medical Center offers complete women's wellness exams at a reduced cost. These exams include a blood pressure check, heart and lung exam, breast exam and Thin Prep Pap smear for only $40*. The exams, which last about 30 - 45 minutes, are performed by advanced medical students under the direct supervision of a Naturopathic Physician.

Upcoming clinic dates are November 11 and December 9. The Medical Center also offers a Contraception Clinic every Tuesday from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Your visit includes identifying the best birth control method for you, prescriptions at the appointment, and fittings for diaphragms and FemCap. You can also have your well woman exam for $60*.
