IfHI 2007 Conference
Bi-Annual Certification and Symposia:
Upstream/Downstream: Metabolic Profiling of the Individual

Whether your goal is to learn cutting-edge applications in Nutrigenomics and detoxification from acknowledged masters, to receive certification as an IfHI registered practitioner, or to learn principles and practical guidelines for the benefit of your own personal health, IfHI 2007 Upstream/Downstream is the conference you'll want to attend.

Scheduled for May 18 through May 20, at The Buttes Resort and Conference Center in Tempe, Arizona, this symposium brings together a unique group of world renowned experts, including:

Peter D'Adamo, ND: Founder and current President of the Institute for Human Individuality, Dr. D'Adamo is considered a world authority on human polymorphisms. He is the author of ten peer-reviewed studies on blood groups as well as the New York Times best seller, Eat Right 4 Your Type, which has sold over 3 million copies in 50 languages. At the conference, Dr. D'Adamo will also introduce a new dimension of his Science of Individuality: The Genotype Diets.

Walter Crinnion, ND: A renowned expert in detoxification and environmental medicine, with peer reviewed publications and extensive clinical and research experience. Dr. Crinnion was the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians' “Physician of the Year” in 2004. Dr. Crinnion is the founder and head of the Environmental Medicine Center of Excellence at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Emily Kane, ND Lac: A graduate of Bastyr University in Seattle, Dr. Kane maintains an active clinical practice, writes a column for Great Life magazine, and teaches regularly. A former senior editor of the Journal of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Kane has recently published a book entitled Managing Menopause Naturally.

William Mitchell, ND: Dr. Mitchell is a founder and current faculty member at Bastyr University, where he teaches Advanced Integrated Therapeutics. He is the author of Naturopathic Applications of the Botanical Remedies, a textbook published in 1983. He has been in private practice in Seattle for over 21 years and specializes in difficult to treat situations such as MS, ALS, Alzheimer's and other degenerative diseases.

Gerhard Uhlenbruck, ND: Dr. Uhlenbruck is a legendary figure in lectin and blood group research. You cannot read any modern textbook on lectinology or immunology without encountering his investigative legacy. Dr. Uhlenbruck is an engaging speaker and a fountain of insightful aphorisms about the human condition.

Labyrinth

In addition to the informative and enlightening lectures, IfHI offers Fellow and Master certification exams on the final day of the conference. The certification allows you to be identified by consumers as an IfHI certified practitioner. Those who choose to complete the exam will attend focused and well-designed certification preparation breakout sessions. No prior licensing or certification in any other healing art is required.

IfHI 2007: Upstream/Downstream: Metabolic Profiling of the Individual is open to all health professionals and anyone interested in learning about the latest advances in the science of Nutrigenomics. IfHI is also offering an early registration discount of $550, through November 15. After November 15, the cost for the three day conference is $575, for current IfHI members and $595 for non-members, with special discounts for students. For more information about the conference and registration visit www.dadamo.com/ifhi/2007, or to register by phone, 203-761-0042.

IfHI is partnered with Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and North American Pharmacal, Inc. and is dedicated to the pursuit of truly individualized naturopathic medicine. It is the goal of IfHI to assume a leadership role in the fast-developing field of Nutrigenomics - the genetic influence on our individual response to diet and nutrition - and to develop new applications and practices that allow this information to benefit humankind. Under the guidance of Dr. Peter D'Adamo and the Research Faculty and Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, IfHI is a non-profit organization 501c3 funded by private donation and supporting members.
