New Student Scholarships

Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine announces the availability of the following scholarship awards for Incoming New Students. The awards range from $500-$1500, which will be credited to the recipient’s tuition during the student’s first two quarters.

These scholarship awards are based on financial need and academic excellence.

Financial need is determined through your eligibility to receive federal loans. Academic excellence is determined and based on cumulative grade point average (GPA) for all post secondary coursework, prerequisite GPA, and undergraduate major.

Incoming students are eligible to receive only one SCNM Scholarship Award per calendar year, although you may apply for multiple awards.

No application is necessary for New Student Scholarships; however, we encourage all students to fill out the FAFSA as soon as possible for Need-Based consideration.

Docerè Scholarship Award

Need Based Grant

Amount: $500-$1500

Criteria:

  • Incoming New Full-Time Student
  • Need Based (eligibility for federal loans through financial aid) Requires FAFSA completion.
  • Merit component.
  • Award recipient must remain enrolled for one full calendar year during award.
    Amount to be awarded over a period of two quarters. Award applied against student account.

Timeline: Fall and Spring commencement.  Early application to the Admissions Program is encouraged.

Continuing Student Scholarships

Southwest College offers scholarship opportunities for incoming and current students. Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine announces the availability of the following scholarship awards for Continuing Students. The awards range from $500-$1000, which will be credited to the recipient’s tuition charges over a period of two quarters.

All scholarship awards are based on financial need.

Financial need is determined through your eligibility to receive federal loans through the US FFELP program. Academic excellence is determined and based on cumulative grade point average (GPA).

Docerè Scholarship Award

Amount: $500-$1000

Criteria:

  • Continuing Full Time Student (Timeline: Announced in Fall)
  • Need Based (eligible for federal loans through financial aid, require current FAFSA
  • Award recipient must remain enrolled for one full calendar year during award.
