SCNM Biofeedback Course Announced
Approved for 30 hours of AZ Naturopathic CME, the ten-week “Medical Applications of Biofeedback” course will meet weekly from 6 to 9pm on Wednesdays from January 9, 2012, through March 31, 2012.
This course is designed for physicians, counselors, healing-arts practitioners, and medical students. The course meets the didactic requirements for BCIA certification.
Course participants will:
- Become familiar with technology, equipment, treatment modalities.

- Learn common clinical applications for biofeedback, including specific protocols for:

INSTRUCTORS:
John Dye, ND, has been chair of mind-body medicine department at SCNM since 1996. His 32-year practice has focused largely on the integration of mind-body healing methods, including counseling, hypnosis, guided imagery, holographic imagery, voice dialogue, narrative medicine, NLP, EMDR, EFT, NAET, biofeedback and neurofeedback.
Leslie Sherlin, PhD, has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in clinical psychology and doctorate degree in psychology. He practices QEEG analysis and neurofeedback clinically and has been involved in client care since 2002 and is actively involved in research projects in the field of QEEG and psychophysiology. He is certified at the diplomate level in QEEG and is BCIA board certified both in biofeedback and neurobiofeedback. He is also on the board of directors for both the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (president elect) and the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America.
