The VNSA donates all of its proceeds to several charitable organizations. People have been known to begin lining up at 3:00am and the line is nearly a mile long by the time the door opens at 7:00am. When the crowds die down by Saturday afternoon and Sunday, the VNSA just brings out a ton of more books. On Sunday, everything is half off the marked price.
