Spring Butterfly Exhibit

Photo taken by Jill ScottHundreds of colorful butterflies flutter around as you wander through the flower-filled lush gardens at the Desert Botanical Gardens presented by Wells Fargo.

Open for its seventh year, the Marshall Butterfly Pavilion is a butterfly lover’s delight. Watch as butterflies sip nectar from flowers, perch in sunny locations, and land on our visitors. Enjoy the special display areas featuring butterfly host plants, and a Discovery Station where you can see our scaly-winged friends up close. Additional support provided by The Fred Maytag Family Foundation.

Circle K Tempe Music Festival

Fergie and My Chemical Romance headline. Also features Puddle of Mudd, the Meat Puppets, Cowboy Mouth, the Chris Parker Project, Nonpoint, Gin Blossoms, Billy Talent, Drew Alexander and Dorsey. Includes a garage-band competition, a fashion show and extreme-sports demonstrations.

Saturday is Family Day at the Fest thanks to our friends at SRP! The SRP Lil Rockers Kids Area will feature everything for those little "Wanna Be" Rock Stars. Kids can play actual instruments on 3 small stages,make their own Instruments, create CD Mobiles & Much More.

Enjoy the large outdoor sports arcade, compliments of Gatorade. Air Hockey, Hoops, Ping Pong....there's something for everyone at the Arcade.

Salt River Tubing
