Student-for-a-Day
SCNM's Student-for-a-Day program offers interested students the opportunity to observe classes in session (lecture and labs) and observe an ND and clinical students on a clinical rotation at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center.
Student-for-a-Day is a true "day in the life" of an SCNM student. When you arrive on campus you will be greeted by our SCNM Student-for-a-Day Host.
Your host will guide you through your Student-for-a-Day experience, which includes:
- A tour of the SCNM Campus, Anatomy Lab, and Botanical Gardens
- Observation of classes (labs and lectures)
- Admissions Advising (optional)
- Financial Aid Advising (optional)
- Career Services Advising (optional)
- Observation of an ND and clinical students on-shift at the Medical Center

Linda Khoshoba
Linda came to SCNM in Fall 2009 as an international student from Canada. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario, with honors, with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) degree. She completed her MSc in Health Promotion and Public Health at Brunel University, in London, England. Linda is working as a teaching assistant with the first year Anatomy course at SCNM and serves as a mentor to other students. She has primary interest in working internationally withe focus on pediatric medicine.
