Community Involvement
SCNM is a learning community, therefore students are encouraged and expected to participate in a variety of activities that support the goals of the College, support the naturopathic profession, and support the community.
A minimum of 45 community services hours are to be voluntarily contributed to the College or the community over the course of the student's program. These hours may be earned for such activities as volunteering time in the library, assisting a department with preparations for special programs, committee work, student representation at different College committees/activities, tutoring or mentoring students and providing assistance during Seminar Intensives.
Hours are to be logged on the College Community Involvement form, which can be found at the Enrollment Services Center. Completed forms are to be signed by an appropriate supervisor and submitted to the Enrollment Services Center. More information about this program is available in the Enrollment Services Center.
