The list below provides information, in summary form, of some of the benefits and resources available to students at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.  For more information, please download a copy of the recent Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine Student Handbook.

Copying
Copy machines are available to students in the College Library. Students, faculty and staff are expected to comply with the provisions of the Copyright Act of 1976, pertaining to photocopying of printed materials, copying of software and videotaping. To assist in complying with the Copyright Law, appropriate notices shall be placed on or near all equipment capable of duplicating copyrighted materials.

Computers
The College has an IBM-based Microsoft Word for Windows environment. Each student is required to have access to a computer to successfully complete the program. Recommendations for the type of computer equipment students may wish to purchase are included in the computer hardware guidelines.

Healthcare
Students may receive health care at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center for a nominal fee. Immediate family members (i.e. children, spouse or significant other) may also receive a discounted fee if they are registered and approved by the administration. There are also student discounts available in the Natural Medicinary. Specific information is available in the Dean of Students Office.

Housing
In order to assist students in finding housing, a Housing Information Bulletin Board, located in the main hall of campus, is maintained by the Department of Admissions. Students may also place ads for housing in the Vital Force, the College Newspaper. Information about available housing in the Tempe, Mesa and Scottsdale areas may be obtained by contracting the Department of Admissions.

Student Identification Cards
Students are required to obtain a Student Identification Card during registration. These will be updated periodically by the office of the Registrar.
