Southwest College is proud to have a strong Student Government Association. Each year, classes elect a class representative to serve for a term of one year on the Student Government Association (SGA). Members of SGA meet regularly with administration to discuss specific issues and concerns related to College operations and academics.

There is student representation on the College Board of Trustees and various College committees and task forces. A suggestion box is located in the Student Lounge. Students are encouraged to leave their comments and concerns which are forwarded to appropriate staff for response.

There is also student representation from the College to the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association.
