More than 15 student clubs and organizations provide unlimited leadership, educational, social and cultural opportunities, as well as terrific resume-building material and networking opportunities for students.
Student Experience
Tempe, Arizona is a great place to live. It is a city characterized by the New York Times as one the nations top 10 college towns. Students can take advantage of year round beautiful weather, recreational facilities, biking and hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, theaters, botanical gardens and a great downtown. Popular weekend destinations include Flagstaff, Tucson, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Mexico. Elegant dining experience includes the Phoenician, the Arizona Biltmore and Mary Elaines.
I chose to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine at Southwest College because of the ability to receive a comprehensive medical education with training in multiple diagnosis and treatment options through various modalities. The Phoenix climate is an outdoor oasis and a prime environment for motivation conducive to intense study.
