The 2009 Red Ball: Supporting Arizona’s medically underserved

The 2009 Red Ball “An Evening with the Stars” will be held November 7, 2009 at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel in Phoenix, Ariz. Guests at the Hollywood style premiere event will enjoy a Red Carpet experience with Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley. Paparazzi will be on hand snapping photographs of the memorable event while light hors d’oeuvres are served during cocktail hour. Guests can also participate in a unique Silent Auction where one item at random will be given to the top bidder free of charge.

A fantastic surf and turf dinner will precede this year’s Healthcare Stars Awards. A student run Chinese Auction follows the awards as well as a short high profile live auction. For those who like to dance, jazz artist Renee Patrick will be performing in the main ballroom and an optional After Hours Casino will be held on the second floor for those who want to try their hand at Blackjack, Roulette, and/or Craps.

Funds raised by The Red Ball support The Sage Foundation for Health, a non-profit organization devoted to providing quality natural health care to the medically underserved adults and children in the Phoenix metro area. Currently, the Sage Foundation supports eight extended sites where the disadvantaged receive care from Naturopathic doctors (NDs) and Naturopathic medical students from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Without the funds generated by the Red Ball and generous donors these sites might not exist.
