Timothy Schwaiger, N.M.D.

Dr. Schwaiger graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in 1999 where he continues to serve as Associate Clinical Professor. He holds a Masters' degree in Health Services Management and has over 27 years health related experience. His practice focuses on family medicine in treating both acute and chronic conditions. He completed a two year residency at SCNM in Family Medicine.
Dr. Schwaiger has a private practice and teaching rotations at Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center. His practice focuses on family medicine in treating both acute and chronic conditions. Among many treatment modalities, he uses acupuncture and Chinese medicine, integrative medicine, hormones, homeopathy, lifestyle modification, nutrition and supplementation, intravenous (IV) therapy, botanical medicine, and vertebral manipulation. Dr. Schwaiger is trained and experienced in the use of Prolotherapy for pain management.
Dr. Schwaiger is Chair of the Laboratory Diagnosis Section for the Naturopathic Physician Licensing Examination (NPLEX), and serves on its Executive Board. He is also an Associate Professor of Naturopathic Medicine and the Department Chair in General Medicine. |
