The SCNM Admissions Committee carefully evaluates each application for the Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition, Executive Master of Science in Nutrition Business Leadership, and the Supervised Practice Experience to select individuals who can be successful in the program and contribute to the learning experience. Candidates are considered holistically with consideration given to factors beyond scores, GPAs and other numerical performance indicators. Those factors might include but are not limited to extracurricular activities, unique work or service experience, meaningful contributions to the community, demonstrated compassion, meaningful volunteer work, leadership potential or impact, a history of overcoming hardship or disadvantage, maturity, exceptional talents or skills, trends or improvements in academic performance, success in a challenging undergraduate environment, and graduate school or workplace performance.
Applications are evaluated on a rolling admissions basis, ensuring that each candidate receives a prompt response to their application. Once all documents are received, the application is considered and a decision is made.
